No further installation should be required. download the Zip version of SDR#, not the installer ![]() create a C:\Tools\SDRsharp\ directory (name of your choosing) set its security to Everyone, Full control I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and I can't figure out why this is happening. Everything was fine but it would open and give me a windows error message and shut down. Next, I uninstalled the last one I tried, and went back to reinstall sdr# community pack. I uninstalled (unwisely?) the Sharp software and tried several others, (SDRPlay, HDSDR, SDRuno, etc.) all uninstalled after the others because I just wasn't as happy as I was with SDR#. ![]() For hardware, I am using the HF Discovery and for software I WAS using SDR Sharp(community pkg w/plug-ins) until I got curious about the other big sdr programs out there.
